The new diagnostic equipment, developed for examining muscle strength and monitoring rehabilitation, was shown by Sergej Rozman. The system measures the muscle capacity of injured muscles and is useful for establishing the extent of injury. This is a non-invasive method, takes only a few minutes and, furthermore, it can be used on injured muscles as well.
By mapping the muscle injury, a new injury can be avoided and the examination will unequivocally show any possible diverging capacity of the symmetrical muscles. The equipment also provides exact data on the degree of asymmetry.
We plan to introduce the equipment in our daily diagnostics, making it part of our examination procedures in our out-patient clinics.
