The Physiotherapy Department provides conservative and perioperative care for our inpatients through individual and special physiotherapy and electro-physiotherapy treatments.
Physiotherapy Clinic
Physiotherapy is an elemental part of our complex treatment of spinal disorders wherein the physician and the physiotherapist work closely together for the betterment of the patient.
The Department has more than ten years' experience in spine care and the staff of ten physiotherapists and two masseurs, is dedicated to provide a high level of musculoskeletal treatment to its patients (English, German and Spanish is spoken). An individual and personalized activity program is set up to restore the spine's functional capacity, that is, the spine's range of movement as well as the strength and endurance of the supporting muscles. The patients may reach the level of improvement that would make usual activities (i.e., work, sports, leisure activities) symptom free, if they exercise regularly as taught in the hospital.
