The National Center for Spinal Disorders, an affiliate of the Buda Health Center, is the only hospital in Hungary covering virtually the entire diagnostic and treatment spectrum of all disorders of the spine.

Musculoskeletal Clinic

Of all our clinics, the Musculoskeletal Clinic has the largest patient flow with more than ten thousand examinations and treatments per year. Most of these patients arrive with spine complaints but other musculoskeletal problems (i.e., general orthopedics, traumatology) must not be discounted. The outpatient clinics cover our entire inpatient care spectrum from degenerative spinal disorders to general orthopedic problems.
Cervical or lumbar spine complaints are the most prevalent.  We endeavor to find the origin of these complaints and refer the patients to the proper specialists. Should the clinical symptoms and the diagnostic examination results show the need for surgery, then we schedule hospital admission here, take care of all pre-surgery preparations to ensure that all proceeds smoothly and that the planned operation is successful. Should the results indicate that the treatment required is non-surgical, we immediately refer the patient for conservative and/or rheumatological treatment to ensure that the treatments to begin as soon as possible.

State-of-the-art diagnostic equipment - digital x-rays, ultrasonography, CT and MRI scans - are available on site allowing us to obtain immediate results as to the cause of our patients' complaints or, if other examinations (i.e., complete body bone scintigraphy, osteoporosis measuring, etc.) are necessary, we refer them to the proper institutions.
