The National Center for Spinal Disorders, an affiliate of the Buda Health Center, is the only hospital in Hungary covering virtually the entire diagnostic and treatment spectrum of all disorders of the spine.

A new diagnostic equipment was demonstrated.

TMG, a Slovenian company that has gained significant international recognition in neuromuscular research and diagnostics, was recently introduced to our medical staff and physiotherapists.

The new diagnostic equipment, developed for examining muscle strength and monitoring rehabilitation, was shown by Sergej Rozman.  The system measures the muscle capacity of injured muscles and is useful for establishing the extent of injury.  This is a non-invasive method, takes only a few minutes and, furthermore, it can be used on injured muscles as well.

By mapping the muscle injury, a new injury can be avoided and the examination will unequivocally show any possible diverging capacity of the symmetrical muscles.  The equipment also provides exact data on the degree of asymmetry.

We plan to introduce the equipment in our daily diagnostics, making it part of our examination procedures in our out-patient clinics.
