The National Center for Spinal Disorders, an affiliate of the Buda Health Center, is the only hospital in Hungary covering virtually the entire diagnostic and treatment spectrum of all disorders of the spine.

Emőke Bagdy, PhD, received the Prima Primissima award.

The Prima Primissima award in Education was presented to psychologist, Emőke Bagdy, PhD. on December 6, 2013.

Prof. Bagdy earned her Candidate and her Habilitation degrees in Psychology in 1982 and 1995, respectively.  She founded and organized several university entities dealing with Psychology, is the author and co-author of numerous books and articles, is a member and director of several professional organizations and the recipient of many awards given in recognition of her work.  The main focus of her research concerns: the effectiveness of relaxation techniques, the career personality, the relationship of couples, methods of dealing with stress and the psychology of health.  

Currently, Prof. Bagdy is Professor Emeritus at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary and Director of the Psychotherapy Department and of the Psychosomatic Clinic of the National Center for Spinal Disorders in Budapest.
